I looked at similar desks at Office Depot, but they never measured up to my memory of the Techni Mobili desk. After moving where there was no Fry's, I ordered the desk off Amazon (CSN), even though someone earlier only rated it 3 stars. Excellent desk. All of the glass pieces are secured to the frame, so they do not slide or wobble. Very sturdy. All of the joints were well thought out, and the instructions are clear and concise (picture-driven). It's a beautiful desk, and I couldn't be happier! The desk itself is modern and hip looking but the functionality is terrible. Since it is black glass every piece of dust shows as well as finger prints and smudges. The desk also clangs a lot given the fact that the surface is glass. Since I ordered the desk from OJ Commerce through Amazon I thought that a return would be easy. I WAS WRONG! OJ Commerce will not provide a shipping label and the cost of shipping is on the buyer. I am okay with paying the shipping but OJ Commerce wants a 30% restocking fee. That is crazy given that fact that the shipping cost and restocking fee is about 65% of the cost of the desk. In addition they were non responsive and defensive about a return making this process very costly and difficult. At this point I am stuck with the desk.I will NEVER purchase anything from OJ Commerce again and I would recommend that you do not...
